Stop marketing emails without missing account emails
Turn off Marketing emails, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email. Account emails keep arriving.
Marketing emails (product news, tips and offers) and account emails (your welcome, billing and anything about your account) are separate. Turning off marketing emails never stops account emails, which are always on.
In the app
- Open your Profile, select Account Settings, then Privacy & Notifications.
- Turn off Marketing emails.
From an email
Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email. It opens Email preferences, where you can:
- select Turn off next to just the kinds you don't want, such as General marketing or Event information. Account notifications stay Always on.
- or, under Or stop all marketing email, select Unsubscribe.
If you unsubscribe from all marketing email, the Marketing emails switch in the app turns off too, and you can turn it back on there any time.
Good to know
Password reset emails always send. If a marketing email still arrives after you've turned them off, use the unsubscribe link in that email.
