Change or remove a roster
Rename a roster or a student, put students in order, add or remove them, or delete a roster, from the Roster Manager in any planner's settings.
Open the Roster Manager: in any planner, select Settings (on a phone, the sliders button), then Manage rosters under Class Rosters. Your changes apply to every planner you own.
- Rename a roster: type the new name in the box at the top of it.
- Rename a student: select their name, type the new one and press Enter. Esc keeps the old name.
- Put the students in order: select Sort by beside the roster's name, then First name, Last name or Order added. Your planners fill names in that order too.
- Add a student: type the name where it says Add a student name, then press Enter or select Add.
- Remove a student: select the x beside their name.
- Remove a whole roster: select the trash can button beside the roster's name. If it has students, it asks first: select Remove.
Nothing is saved until you select Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the window, which appears once you change something. If it can't be saved, you'll see Couldn't save rosters. Check your connection. Open the Roster Manager again and redo the change once you're back online.
To leave without saving, select Cancel or the X. The same bar asks Leave without saving?: select Discard changes to leave, or Keep editing to go back.
Before you do this
Once you select Save changes, removing a roster can't be undone. Names you already put on your planner pages stay where they are.
