Why can't I pick the start month I want?

Setup offers the next twelve months. A month your subscription doesn't cover turns orange, and you can add a year right there. Months are fixed at setup.

In setup

  • The list shows the next twelve months, starting with this one, so a planner can't start in a month that has already passed. In September, for example, August of this year is not offered.
  • Your whole 12-month planner has to fit in the time your subscription covers, so one paid year covers the next 6 months, and another year covers all 12.

A month past what your subscription covers looks like the others. Pick it and it turns orange, with This start month is past your current subscription. Add a year to use it. Choose how many years to add, from 1 to 5, and select Extend for and the price. When you finish paying, setup comes back to the same question with your answers, and the month turns teal. In the desktop and phone apps the payment page opens in your browser, and the month turns teal by itself once the payment goes through.

If your subscription is set to end, it can't be extended, so the step says Your subscription is set to end, so it can't cover this month. Resubscribe under Manage Subscriptions to plan further ahead. You'll find Manage Subscriptions in your Profile.

If your subscription has lapsed, no months are offered, and the step says Your One Stop Teacher Planner subscription has lapsed. Renew it to start a new planner.

In Planner settings

An existing planner offers the months that were available when it was set up. Buying more years later does not add months to it. To carry a planner into a new school year, use Duplicate into the next year.
