Start next year's planner from this year's
Duplicate into the next year copies your planner and asks when next year starts. Everything you wrote stays in the same week.
Instead of starting from scratch, you can carry this year's planner into next year. Everything you wrote comes with it.
- In your Library, select the three-dot menu (⋮) on the planner's card.
- Select Duplicate into the next year.
- The copy opens on one question: When does next year start? Pick a month.
- Select Start next year's planner.
Everything you wrote stays in the same week of the planner, so week 1 is still week 1, now with next year's dates. Your days off, any days you changed on a rotating cycle, and your first and last day of school start fresh. A Rotating Day Planner asks for the new year's first and last day of school on the same screen.
Good to know
The option is greyed out until your subscription covers the whole next year. Select it anyway to see why, with a Manage Subscriptions button to extend. A planner that isn't set up yet has to be finished first.
Good to know
If you leave before picking a month, the same question is waiting next time you open the copy. If your subscription no longer covers next year by then, select Keep as a copy to keep it as a plain copy.
Tip
The copy is named "Copy of" and the original's name. Rename it like any planner.
