Keyboard shortcuts in the planner
Search, turn pages, zoom, undo, copy and more from the keyboard. On a Mac, use Cmd wherever this says Ctrl.
These work while a planner is open on a computer. On a Mac, use Cmd instead of Ctrl.
Anywhere in the planner
- Ctrl + F: open Search Planner.
- ← and →: turn to the previous or next page.
- Ctrl + = (the plus key) and Ctrl + -: zoom in and out. Ctrl + 0: back to 100%.
- Ctrl + Z: undo. Ctrl + Shift + Z or Ctrl + Y: redo.
In edit mode
- Esc: stop typing, or unselect what is selected.
- Tab and Shift + Tab with something selected: select the next or the previous item in Layers.
- Delete or Backspace: remove what you selected.
- Ctrl + A: select everything on the page.
- Ctrl + C, Ctrl + X and Ctrl + V: copy, cut and paste what you selected.
- Ctrl + B, Ctrl + I and Ctrl + U: bold, italic and underline in a text box.
Good to know
While you are typing in a box, the arrow, zoom, select-all and delete keys work on your text instead, so nothing jumps away mid-sentence. Undo and redo still work.
