Why is Edit greyed out, or View only?
A planner shared with you as view only shows View only where Edit would be. Edit is greyed out when your One Stop Teacher Planner subscription has ended.
There are two reasons, and the planner tells you which one applies: point at the button or tap it, and the reason appears.
A planner shared with you as view only
Where Edit would be, there's a grey View only button with an eye. The planner's card under Shared with Me in your Library says Can view. You can read the planner, search it and turn its pages, but not change it, and Settings is greyed out too. Ask the owner to give you Can edit. See View only or can edit.
Your own planner, after your subscription ends
A banner says View Only: You need an active One Stop Teacher Planner subscription to edit this planner. Everything in your planner is still there to read, and you can still open Settings to check its start month and school year. Renew to edit again. See What happens to my planner if my subscription ends?.
Good to know
Right after a subscription ends, you may still be able to edit for a while. A banner then says Your subscription has ended., shows the date your access lasts until, and offers Resubscribe →.
