Update your card
Change the card your subscription is charged to from Manage Subscriptions. The change is made on Stripe's secure billing page.
- Select your picture (or your initials) in the top right corner to open your Profile, then select Account Settings and Manage Subscriptions.
- On your subscription's card, select Manage.
- Next to Primary payment method (it says Managed in Stripe), select Update.
- Stripe's billing page opens. Add your new card there.
- When you're done, use the link at the top of Stripe's page to come back to the app.
Good to know
In the desktop app, Stripe's billing page opens in your web browser. When you're done there, close it and go back to the app.
The app never sees or stores your card number. Stripe, the payment company we use, keeps it, which is why the change happens on Stripe's page.
Good to know
If a renewal payment failed, a new card is usually the fix. See My renewal payment didn't go through.
Good to know
If you see Couldn't open the billing portal. Try again in a moment., wait a moment and select Update again.
