Switch to a plan with more or less storage

Move between Basic, Standard and Premium in Manage Subscriptions. More storage is paid for today; less storage starts at your renewal.

  1. Select your picture (or your initials) in the top right corner to open your Profile, then select Account Settings and Manage Subscriptions.
  2. Under Cloud Storage, select the plan you want. Your plan now is marked Current plan.
  3. Select the button that starts with Switch plan for. It shows the new yearly price.
  4. A window shows what the switch means for you. Select its button to go ahead, or Cancel to keep your plan as it is.

More storage is paid for today. The window shows what you pay now for the rest of your year, your yearly price after that, and the card it's charged to. Select Pay … and switch. Your new storage starts as soon as the payment goes through.

Good to know

If your bank asks you to confirm the payment, select Confirm on Stripe and finish on Stripe's secure page. If your card is declined, nothing changes: see Update your card to use another one.

Good to know

If the window says There's no card on file for your subscription., its pay button is greyed and nothing is charged. Add a card first: see Update your card.

Less storage starts at your renewal. You keep the storage you paid for until the end of your year, then move to the smaller plan at its yearly price. Nothing is charged today, and there's no credit. Select Switch on …. Your subscription's card then says Switches to … with the date, and Undo takes it back.

Kept your free access with Keep it? More storage is paid for today, for the rest of your free access only: the window says The rest of your free access beside the amount. Your free access goes on, and your first charge is the new plan's yearly price. Less storage starts when your free access ends, and nothing is charged today.

Good to know

If the window says We couldn't check the amount right now, so nothing can be charged., select Retry. A smaller plan can still be chosen while its price can't be checked, because nothing is charged today.

If you pay for the One Stop Teacher Planner, each plan's price includes it. The small line under each price is what that storage costs on its own.

Moving to a plan with less storage than your files use? The window says so. On your renewal date nothing is deleted: your files stay and still open, and you can add new ones once you're under the new plan's storage. See How much storage do I have?.

Cancelling while a smaller plan is waiting undoes the switch. If you select Keep Cloud Storage instead, you keep the smaller plan you chose.

In the phone app, more storage is paid for on the web: Switch on the web opens Manage Subscriptions in your browser.

Your subscription needs its payment completed before the plan can change. means a payment is still outstanding. Update your card first: see Update your card.

Good to know

If the window says This subscription is set to end on its renewal date, so its plan can't change now., you cancelled, or selected Keep Cloud Storage. Select Close, then Resubscribe on your subscription's card, and switch after that.

Good to know

If it says Switching to this plan isn't available right now. Your plan hasn't changed., nothing was changed or charged. In the desktop app, more storage needs its newest version: let it update, or switch on the website. Otherwise, email support@onestopteachershop.com and we'll sort it out.
