What happens to my planner if my subscription ends?

Nothing is deleted. After your paid time you have six months to keep editing, then your planners become view only until you subscribe again.

Ending a subscription doesn't delete your planners or your files. Here's what changes, in order:

  • Until the date you've paid for: everything works as usual.
  • For six months after that: you can still open, edit and print your planners. A banner says Your subscription has ended. with the date your access ends, and Resubscribe → takes you to the Shop.
  • After those six months: your planners open with a View Only banner. You can read them, but you can't edit, print or download them.

While a planner is view only, Planner settings still lets you change its name and page layout. In Share / Export you can't add people or give anyone edit access, but you can still remove people. The planner chat keeps its messages, but nobody can send, react or edit. Anyone you shared it with sees This planner has been deactivated.

Your Filing Cabinet

Your files stay in your account, but the Filing Cabinet closes when your subscription ends. You can't open, add or share files there, and your share links stop working. Files attached to your planner pages still open from the planner. Everything opens again once you have a subscription.

Good to know

When you cancel, the app warns that you'll lose access to the files in your Filing Cabinet. That's the closing described here: your files aren't deleted. If you chose Keep Cloud Storage when you cancelled, your Filing Cabinet keeps working. See Cancel the planner but keep your files.

Tip

Want your own copy? Download your files before your subscription ends, and your planners as PDFs before the six months are up. See Keep a copy of your planners and files.
