Delete your account

Select Delete Account in Account Settings. Your account is deleted 30 days later, and you can keep it by signing in before then.

  1. Select your picture (or your initials) in the top right corner, then select Account Settings.
  2. Select Delete Account at the bottom.
  3. Read what will happen, then tick I understand that my planners and files will be deleted.
  4. Type your password and select Delete my account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, select Continue with Google or Continue with Apple instead.

What happens next

  • Nothing is deleted for 30 days. A red bar at the top of the app shows the date.
  • Your subscriptions stop renewing that day, so you won't be charged again. Receipts for past payments are kept, as the law requires.
  • Marketing emails stop that day.
  • On the date, your planners, the files in your Filing Cabinet, your class rosters and your settings are deleted for good, and so is your sign-in. Anyone you shared a planner with loses it too.
  • A Staff Chat server you own closes on the date for everyone in it, unless you hand it to another admin first. Everyone in it sees the date in a red bar until then. What you wrote in a school stays there, as the school's record.
  • Backup copies of our database are kept for up to 98 days, so your data is fully gone from them within 98 days of the deletion.

Changed your mind?

Sign in before the date and select Keep my account in the red bar. Your subscriptions renew again as before. Marketing emails stay off until you turn them on in Privacy & Notifications.

Tip

Keep what you need first. Download your planners as PDFs and the files in your Filing Cabinet before the date. See Keep a copy of your planners and files.

Good to know

If you only want fewer emails, you don't need to delete anything. See Stop marketing emails without missing account emails. To remove a single planner or file instead, see Delete a planner and get it back.
