Who can see my planners and files?

Only you, unless you share. People you share a planner with see that planner, and anyone with a file's share link can open that file.

Your planners, your Filing Cabinet and your class rosters belong to your account. Other teachers can't see them unless you share something with them.

When you share a planner

  • Only the people you add by email can open it, and you choose Can view or Can edit for each one. See Share your planner with another teacher.
  • They see that planner's pages, including anything written on them, such as student names. They don't see your other planners.
  • They can open files attached to that planner's pages, but not the rest of your Filing Cabinet.
  • They can print it or download a PDF only if Allow printing and downloading is on and they have a One Stop Teacher Planner subscription of their own.
  • Your name shows on the planner in their Library.

When you share a file or folder by link

Anyone who has the link can view and download that file or folder, without an account, until the link expires or you turn it off. See Turn off a share link.

To see everyone you share planners with, open your Profile and select Manage Collaborators.

Good to know

When you report a problem with F8, the report includes a screenshot of your screen, your last few actions and the page you were on. The report window shows you the screenshot before you send it. See Report a problem with F8.
