Turn off a share link
Turn a share link off to stop it working right away, and turn it back on later. Removing a link ends it for good, but the file stays.
Turn it off, or back on
- In the Filing Cabinet, select ⋮ on the file or folder, then Share.
- Select Turn off. The link stops working immediately.
While it's off, the window says This link is turned off. Select Turn on to make the same link work again. You can also turn links off and on from your list of links: see See every link you've shared.
Remove it for good
In Shared links, select the broken-link button next to the item. The link stops working for good, and the file stays in your Filing Cabinet. If you share that item again, it gets a new link.
Before you do this
A removed link can't be brought back. Anyone who had it will need the new one.
