Make your own section with its own name
Create a tab with any name, like Math Block, then fill it with pages from any section or with blank pages of your own.
- Select Edit, then Add tab at the right end of the tabs.
- Under Custom tab, type a name, up to 24 characters.
- Select Create.
Your new tab appears at the end of your tabs. It starts with a cover page that shows its name in your theme's style, and no other pages, so it says No pages yet. Use Manage pages… to add one.
- Select the three dots on your new tab, then Manage pages….
- Select Add page.
- Pick a section along the top and select a page to see it up close. Select + on each page you want, then the Add button at the bottom. For a blank page, select Custom page, the last card, and type its name under the preview.
You can mix pages from different sections, for example a gradebook, a notes page and a curriculum map for one subject. See add, rename, reorder and delete pages.
Good to know
The name you type always shows exactly as you wrote it, in any language. If you rename the tab later, its cover page keeps the first name. See why renaming didn't change the page.
