Keep grades in the gradebook
The Grades section gives you gradebook pages. Type names and scores, fill names from your roster, and keep a page per subject or term.
Add the Grades section with Add tab. It comes with gradebook pages designed to match your theme, such as a one-page and a two-page layout.
- Select Edit.
- Click or tap an empty cell and type: student names, assignments, scores, whatever the page has room for.
- Select Done when you're finished. Everything saves as you go.
When the student name column is set up for your roster, clicking a cell in it drops down your roster's names. Pick one, or fill the whole column at once. See fill in student names from a roster.
Tip
Keep one gradebook per subject or term: open the tab's three dots, choose Manage pages…, then Duplicate a page you've set up, or use Add page for a fresh one. Rename each page so you can tell them apart.
Good to know
You can make a cell bold, change its color or size, and more, on a computer or a phone. See format cells in a table.
Tip
Want each student's average worked out for you? A column can do it by itself. See work out averages and totals in a table.
