Duplicate a page

Make a copy of a page, with its design and everything you wrote and placed on it, right after the original or at the end of another tab.

  1. Select Edit, then select the section's tab.
  2. Select the three dots on the tab, then Manage pages….
  3. Open the three dots next to the page and choose Duplicate.

The copy appears right after the original, with copy added to its name. It includes the page's design, everything you typed into its tables, lined areas and boxes, and the text boxes, pictures, stickers, drawings and attachments you placed on it.

From then on the two pages are separate, so changing one doesn't change the other. Rename the copy with the pencil in the same window.

Duplicate a page into another tab

  1. In Manage pages…, open the three dots next to the page and choose Duplicate to….
  2. Select the tab you want. The copy goes at the end of that tab, with everything the page has on it.
  3. To see it there, select Go to the copy, or open that tab.

The list shows the tabs that can hold the page, including the ones you made yourself. Calendar is never in it, because it shows months rather than pages, and neither is the tab the page is already in: use Duplicate for that.

Tip

Duplicating saves time on pages you use over and over: set one up with your students' names or your layout, then duplicate it for each subject, group or month. To move a page to another tab, duplicate it there, then remove the original.

Good to know

Cover pages and the Calendar months can't be duplicated. A few older pages can only be copied within their own tab, so Duplicate to… isn't in their menu. You can do all of this on your own planner, or on one shared with you with Can edit.
