Take attendance
The Attendance section gives you an attendance sheet across two pages. Add your students and mark each day right in the sheet.
Add the Attendance section with Add tab. Its sheet spreads across two pages, with room for your students and a column for each day.
- Select Edit.
- Type your students' names. If the name column is set up for your roster, you can pick or fill the names from it instead (see fill in student names from a roster).
- Click or tap a cell to mark it. Everything saves as you go.
Most cells take typing. If your sheet has tick boxes, tapping one puts a ✓ in it, tapping again changes it to T for tardy, and a third tap clears it.
Tip
Need more sheets, such as one per month or one per class? Open the tab's three dots, choose Manage pages… and Duplicate a sheet. The copy keeps your students' names, so you only type them once.
Good to know
Headings that are part of the sheet's design can't be typed over. What you type on one sheet stays on that sheet.
