My collaborator can't see or edit my planner
Check the email address you shared with, their access level, and that they selected Edit. Most problems are one of these.
Work through these in order.
- Is it the right email address? Sharing goes to the exact address you typed. If they sign in with a different one, share again with that address.
- Do they have an account? The planner appears once they create one with that address and verify their email. See Share with someone who doesn't have an account yet.
- Are they looking in the right place? It's under Shared with Me in their Library, not with their own planners.
- Can they edit? If they have Can view, change it to Can edit under People with access in Share / Export.
- Did they select Edit? Collaborators with Can edit still select Edit at the top to start writing.
- Are they online? A shared planner needs an internet connection.
If they see You no longer have access, they were removed or left the planner. Share it with them again.
Good to know
Some things only the owner can do, whatever a collaborator's access: change the design in Theme Studio, change the Planner language, or invite people. A collaborator sees Theme Studio grayed out, and pointing at it or tapping it says Theme Studio is only available to planner owners. Printing and downloading also need their own One Stop Teacher Planner subscription. See Can my collaborators print or download my planner?
