Install the desktop app on Windows
Open the installer, get past the Windows warning with More info and Run anyway, and the app installs for your account with no admin password.
- Download One Stop Teacher Shop Setup.exe from the download page.
- Open the file, for example by double-clicking it in your Downloads folder.
- If Windows warns that it prevented an unrecognized app from starting, click More info, check that the publisher is One Stop Teacher Shop, Inc, then click Run anyway. See Windows warns about the installer.
- The app installs by itself in one step. It doesn't ask for an administrator password, because it installs just for your Windows account and puts shortcuts on your desktop and in the Start menu.
- Open One Stop Teacher Shop if it hasn't opened by itself, and sign in with your usual account.
Good to know
Open the installer the normal way. If you choose Run as administrator and type someone else's password, the app installs for that other account and you won't see it. A copy placed in the Program Files folder can't update itself.
Good to know
On a computer your school manages, installing may be blocked. The planner always works in your web browser. See Can I use the desktop app on a school computer?.
