Why does the desktop app say Time to update?
Your copy of the desktop app is too old to keep working safely. Update it from that screen, or open the web app in the meantime.
Time to update means the version of the desktop app on your computer is too old to keep working safely, usually because a newer one fixes something important. The screen explains why, and shows your version and the version you need.
The app starts downloading the update as soon as this screen appears. Then:
- When the download is ready, select Restart and update. While it downloads, the button says Getting the update, and Or download the installer yourself is there if you'd rather not wait.
- If the app can't update itself, the button says Download the latest version instead. Download it and install it over your old copy.
- Need your planner right now? Open the web app instead opens it in your web browser, where it's always up to date.
Good to know
Your planners are saved in your account, so nothing is lost by updating.
