Type in the tables and forms on a page
Most pages have tables, lined areas and labeled boxes built in. Turn on Edit, then click or tap into any of them and type.
- Select Edit.
- Click or tap a table cell, a lined area or a labeled box, and type.
- Select Done when you're finished. Everything saves as you go.
- A click or tap puts you in a cell. Dragging moves the page instead, as it does anywhere else.
- Press Enter for a new line inside a cell.
- At the start or end of a cell's text, the arrow keys move you into the next cell.
- Anything you paste into a cell comes in as plain text.
- Some tables have tick boxes: tap one for ✓, tap again for T, and once more to clear it.
- When a student name column is set up for your roster, your roster's names drop down to pick from. See fill in student names from a roster.
What you type belongs to that page. Duplicating the page copies it, and it stays put if you switch your planner to another theme.
Good to know
Headings and labels that are part of the page's design can't be typed over in the planner. See why you can't type on a page.
