My planner won't open or shows an error

What each message means when a planner won't open, and what to do about it.

Find the message you see:

  • Planner not found: the planner may have been deleted. Deleted planners stay in Recently Deleted in your Profile for 30 days. See Delete a planner and get it back.
  • Planner not found on a teacher resource, in the desktop app: that copy of the app is older than teacher resources. Open the resource in your web browser, and update the desktop app when an update is offered.
  • You no longer have access: the owner stopped sharing it with you. Ask them to share it again.
  • Couldn't load this planner: a shared planner couldn't be fetched. Check your internet connection and select Try again.
  • Planner not ready: the owner hasn't finished setting it up yet.
  • This page didn't load: select Try again, or Go to my planners. Your work is saved.
  • This is taking longer than usual: you're still being signed in. Check your connection, then select Sign in again.

If it just keeps loading, reload the app. If you're asked to update or reload, do that first. See Why am I being asked to update or reload?
