Format cells in a table

Click or tap in a table cell, then use the Text toolbar to change its font, size, color, bold, italic, underline or alignment, on a computer or a phone.

  1. Select Edit.
  2. Click or tap in the cell you want to change. The Text toolbar opens.
  3. Pick a font, a size, a text color, Bold, Italic, Underline or an alignment.

The change applies to the whole cell, including anything you type in it later. The buttons show the cell's current style, so you can see what's already bold.

On a computer, to change several cells at once, click into one of them, then drag across the others. They turn teal, and each choice you make changes all of them. Press Esc or click away from the table when you're done.

Good to know

A highlight color can't be added to a table cell, and a cell can't be partly bold. Cell backgrounds, borders and column sizes are part of the page's design, which the planner's owner changes in Theme Studio. See change a page's design.

Good to know

On a phone, just tap in the cell: the text bar appears above the keyboard by itself, with the same choices. Tap the check mark when you're done.
