Move a day's plans forward after a snow day

When you close a day with lessons or other things in its cells, a bubble in edit mode offers to move them forward one school day, with everything after them.

If school closes on a day you already planned, you can slide that day's lessons, and every lesson after them, forward by one school day.

  1. Mark the day off under Manage days. See Set your school year and days off.
  2. Select Edit and go to that week. A bubble over the closed day asks Move these plans forward?
  3. Select Move plans, read what will happen, and select Move my plans.

The day's lessons land on the next school day, and everything after them moves along one school day too, so nothing is written over.

Good to know

Stickers, pictures, notes, text boxes and attachments sitting in a lesson's cell move with it, and a closed day that holds only those gets the bubble too. Anything laid across several cells stays where it is.

Before you do this

Right after the move, a message offers Undo. Once that message closes, the move can't be undone.

Good to know

Not ready to decide? Select the X on the bubble: it folds into a small button beside NO SCHOOL, and selecting that brings it back. In the summary, Just close the day keeps the day closed without moving anything.

Good to know

If there is no room at the end of your school year or your planner, nothing moves and a message says why. Reopening the day later does not move plans back.
