Fill in days off from your district's calendar
Upload your district's school calendar as a PDF or photo. The planner reads its days off, and you choose which to add.
Instead of marking twenty days by hand, you can let your planner read your district's calendar.
- Open your planner, select Settings, then Manage days under School calendar.
- Select Upload your school calendar and choose a PDF or a photo. A photo of the calendar on the office wall works too.
- Wait while it says Reading your calendar...
- In What your calendar says, check each row and tick the days your school is closed.
- Select the Add button, which says how many days it will add.
Nothing is added until you press that button. Some rows arrive unticked with a note: Not a closure (such as an early release, a late start, or the first or last day of school), Outside your year, or Already marked.
If your first and last day of school are empty, the calendar fills them in, and a message tells you it did.
Good to know
Your file is read once and not kept.
Good to know
Always check the list before you add it: a busy calendar can be misread. If the file can't be read, try a clearer photo, or mark the days yourself on the calendar.
