Why did my plans move to different dates?
Plans are kept by their week in the planner, not by date, so changing the start month or hiding a month moves them.
Your planner keeps what you write in its week of the planner (week 1, week 2 and so on), not on a calendar date. The date each week stands for comes from your settings, so when a setting moves the dates, your plans go with their week.
What moves them
- Changing the start month. Starting a month later moves your plans about a month later. Pick the old start month again to put them back.
- Hiding a month. Its weeks leave the planner, so the plans after it show under later dates. Showing the month again puts them back.
- Showing a hidden month. The opposite: the plans after it show under earlier dates.
- Moving a snow day's plans forward. That shifts lessons one school day, and it stays once the Undo message closes.
Good to know
Nothing is deleted by any of these. Days off are kept by date, so they stay on their days even when your plans move.
Good to know
If you pick a hidden month as your new start month, it is shown again and stays shown if you switch back. To hide it again, select Edit, then the +/− button above the month tabs.
Tip
Set your start month and hide the months you don't need before you start planning, and none of this comes up.
