Rename your subjects or time blocks
On your weekly pages, in edit mode, double-click a row's name to rename it, or change every name at once in Theme Studio.
Setup asks for your row names on its Enter your subjects step (or class periods, time blocks or blocks). Rows whose box you left empty have the planner's own names, such as Subject 1 or 1st Period, and you can change them to your own at any time.
On the planner
- Open your planner and select the Planner tab to open your weekly pages.
- Select Edit.
- Double-click the row's name at the left of the grid. On a phone or tablet, double-tap it.
- Type the new name and press Enter, or click away. Press Esc to cancel.
Double-clicking a name is a shortcut for Theme Studio: it changes the same name you'd change there (below), without leaving your page.
On a Time Block Planner, the same double-click opens the row's times, with an optional label. See Set the times for each time block.
In Theme Studio
Select Theme Studio beside Edit (only the planner's owner can open it). Select the weekly grid and open Properties. Under Structure, the names list (such as Subject names) has a box for every row. To change how many rows you have, pick a number from 2 to 10 just above it.
Good to know
When your subjects run across the top of the grid, rename them in Theme Studio; double-clicking a name does not work in that layout.
Good to know
A name can be up to 40 characters. Names you type stay exactly as you typed them in every language. Names the planner gave, like Subject 1, are translated if you change your planner's language.
