Set the times for each time block
On a Time Block Planner, double-click a row in edit mode to set when it starts and ends, and add an optional label.
On a Time Block Planner, each row is a stretch of your day. It shows its start and end time, such as 9:00 - 9:45, with an optional label beside it, such as Reading.
Setup asks for them on its Enter your time blocks step. To change them later:
On the planner
- Open your planner and select Edit.
- Double-click the row at the left of the grid. On a phone or tablet, double-tap it.
- Set Starts and Ends by choosing the hour, minute and AM or PM. Or type the time, such as 8:07, in the box at the top, and press Enter.
- Type a Label (optional) if you like, such as Lunch or Specials.
In Theme Studio
Select Theme Studio beside Edit (only the planner's owner can open it). Select the weekly grid, open Properties, and under Structure find Times and labels. Each row shows its start and end time first, with its label underneath.
Good to know
A row with no times and no label shows a placeholder such as Time Block 3 until you set it. If your time blocks run across the top of the grid, set their times in Theme Studio; double-clicking only works when they run down the side.
Tip
To make a long block taller than a short one, see Make one row bigger or smaller.
