Change the letter or number on one day

In edit mode, double-click a day's letter to pick a different one. Only that day changes; the rest of your cycle stays put.

Sometimes a school runs one day out of order, like "Wednesday is a B day". On a Rotating Day Planner you can change that one day.

On the planner

  1. Open your planner and select Edit.
  2. Double-click the letter or number next to the day's name. On a phone or tablet, double-tap it.
  3. Under Change only this day's cycle, pick the letter or number that day should have.

To put the day back, open it again and pick the Usual choice, which shows the day's normal letter, such as Usual (A).

On your own planner, Manage days at the bottom of the same box, under Or mark this day off, opens your school calendar, where you set your first and last day of school and your days off.

In Theme Studio

The planner's owner can also open Theme Studio, beside Edit. Select the weekly grid, open Properties, and find Change one day under Cycle. Pick the date, then the letter or number. Every day you have changed is listed with its usual letter and a Reset button, and changes made either way show up in both places.

Good to know

Only that day changes. The days after it keep their usual letters, so one change never shifts the rest of your year.

Good to know

A day with no letter (not on your planner's week, closed, or outside your school year) can't be changed. A single click does nothing, so a stray tap never changes a day.
