The app is stuck on the loading screen
If loading takes too long, the app offers Try again and Sign in again. Check your connection first, then try each one.
When the app starts, it shows the One Stop Teacher Shop logo and a loading bar while it signs you in. Usually that takes a moment. If it takes too long, the app says so:
- While it's signing you back in, you may see Taking too long? Sign in manually. Select it to go to the sign-in page.
- After a while, This is taking longer than usual appears, with Try again and Sign in again.
- Check your internet connection, then select Try again.
- If that doesn't help, select Sign in again and sign in.
- Still stuck? Close the tab or the app completely, then open it again.
Good to know
F8 only works once the app has loaded, so if you can't get in, contact support instead. In the desktop app, a Time to update screen is something else: see Why does the desktop app say Time to update?.
