Delete a text box, picture, sticker or drawing
Select what you want to remove and press Delete, or use the trash can in the toolbar or in Layers. Undo brings it back.
- Select Edit.
- Click or tap the item once to select it.
- Press Delete or Backspace, or select the trash can in the toolbar. On a phone, tap the trash can in the bar at the bottom.
- To delete several things, hold Shift and drag across them from an empty part of the page, then press Delete.
- In Layers, every row has its own trash can, which helps when something is hidden behind something else.
- A text box with nothing in it disappears by itself when you click away.
- To remove some words, click into the text box and delete them like any text.
Tip
Deleted the wrong thing? Select Undo at the top left of the page, or press Ctrl + Z (Cmd + Z on a Mac), straight away.
Good to know
A page's own headings, tables and artwork are part of its design and can't be deleted in the planner.
