An attachment says Missing file
The file behind the attachment was deleted from your Filing Cabinet. Pick a replacement file, or remove the attachment.
An attachment points to a file in your Filing Cabinet. If that file is deleted from the Filing Cabinet, the pill on your page can't open it anymore.
- Click or tap the attachment. In edit mode, select it, then select Preview in the Attach toolbar.
- The Missing File window opens.
- Select Select Replacement File and pick another file, or select Remove attachment.
A replacement keeps the pill where it was, in the same color, and opens the new file from then on.
Good to know
If you deleted the file by mistake, see delete files and get them back.
