Change the font, size, color and style of your text

Select a text box, then use the Text toolbar to change its font, size, color, highlight, bold, italic, underline, alignment and lists.

  1. Select Edit.
  2. Click or tap a text box once to select it. The Text toolbar opens.
  3. Pick a font and a size, a text color or a highlight color, Bold, Italic or Underline, or an alignment.

The alignment button shows how your text lines up, and each press moves it on: left, center, right. The list button beside it turns your lines into a list, and each press changes the list: bullets, hyphens, numbers, then no list. In a list, press Enter for the next item, and Enter on an empty item to end the list.

With the box selected, a change applies to all of its text. To change just a few words, click the box again so you can type, highlight the words, then pick the style. Size always applies to the whole box. Sizes are in points, the same as in Theme Studio, so text at 12 is the same size in a text box and in a table cell.

Tip

Keyboard shortcuts work too: Ctrl + B for bold, Ctrl + I for italic and Ctrl + U for underline. On a Mac, use Cmd.

The font list includes any fonts you've uploaded (see upload your own fonts), and every font prints exactly as it looks on screen.

Good to know

A new text box starts in your planner's default font, which the planner's owner can change under Default font in Settings. While the planner is open, a new box also starts with the style you used last.
