Add a text box anywhere on a page
Select Text, then Add Text Box, and click or tap where you want it. The box opens ready for you to type.
On a computer
- Select Edit at the top of the planner.
- In the toolbar, select Text, then Add Text Box.
- When you see Click where you want your text box, click the spot on the page.
- Type. Click anywhere else when you're done.
On a phone
- Tap the pencil at the top to start editing.
- In the bar at the bottom, tap Text, then Add Text Box.
- Tap the spot on the page and type. The planner zooms in while you type and back out when you finish.
- Tap the check mark when you're done.
Good to know
Changed your mind before placing it? Press Esc or select Text again. A tap in the margin or in the gap between pages doesn't place anything, so just tap the page again. A text box you never type in disappears when you click away.
Tip
On the weekly pages you can also tap a cell and start typing. See write lesson plans in the weekly grid.
