Stop an upload
Use Cancel all to stop every file that hasn't finished, or the X next to one file to skip just that one. Files that already uploaded stay.
The upload bar at the top of the Filing Cabinet has two controls.
- Cancel all stops the whole batch. When you're uploading a single file, the button says Cancel.
- In a batch of several files, the X next to the file that's uploading right now skips just that file. The rest carry on.
Neither asks you to confirm, because stopping never removes anything: every file that had already finished stays in your Filing Cabinet. When it's over, messages tell you how many uploaded and how many were cancelled, for example 37 files uploaded and 3 files cancelled.
Good to know
A file that's still uploading can't be deleted, so stop the upload instead. The same goes for a folder that files are still uploading into: deleting it shows Files are still uploading into this folder until the upload finishes or you cancel it.
